Guide to the Timepaths 3:
Multilevel

As mentioned previously, Timepaths games are played in levels. 45 of them are found here in World Quest, the main adventure mode of the game. Every level beaten will unlock new cards for you to try in future levels, and the next level will always feature newly unlocked cards.

What happens after World Quest?

World Quest features 45 levels, and functions as a way to learn the game and cards. But after beating 10 levels, you unlock Free Play, a different mode which will randomly generate a level for you to play. Free play uses a complex algorithm to create levels, making sure you have enough time and resources to win. All the cards you've unlocked, as well as any custom cards, can be played here. Free play unlocks after beating level 10 of World Quest.

The Design behind World Quest

Originally, Free Play was the only mode, but then I noticed players not realizing how to strategeize the best, and not knowing how to use the cards. World Quest solves this by having each level be designed to teach you something, while remaining fun and interesting. Some cards recieve entire levels dedicated to showing them in detail. (The above card Boom Town is one of those cards because of it's unique behavior). This is beyond what the level generator can do, so I try to push creativity in the best way I can think of in a lot of levels.
